The first Filippo Sorcinelli fragrance was created in 2014 as a tribute to the LAVS atelier. Many of Sorcinelli's fragrances are inspired by specific places, artworks, musical experiences, and moments in time. Reliqvia, for example, was inspired by the Church of the Cross in Senigallia, a historic Baroque building associated with important relics and with which Sorcinelli has a personal connection as organist and artistic director. Opus 1144 explores Gothic architecture through the scent of the period surrounding the construction of the Basilica of Saint-Denis.
