What It Smells Like
Estate Vanilla opens with a deep, concentrated vanilla bean character, combining raw vanilla pods with vanilla-infused sugar. Rather than smelling like a bright synthetic vanilla, it has a darker, slightly earthy quality reminiscent of freshly split vanilla beans and rich vanilla extract. Some wearers also detect subtle chocolatey or boozy facets in the opening.
As it develops, cream and vanilla extract give the fragrance a fuller, smoother character. The sweetness becomes more rounded and creamy, while the darker facets of the vanilla bean remain underneath. The overall effect is relatively linear, with the fragrance staying firmly centred on different facets of rich vanilla rather than moving through dramatically different accords.
