Demeter's own inspiration for the fragrance was the smell encountered when an air conditioner is first switched on in May, making it an unusual interpretation of a familiar household experience.
As the fragrance develops, the earthy and musty character remains central. The impression is more about dampness and the smell of mould than a conventional woody or green perfume. Some fragrance enthusiasts describe it as piercing and unpleasantly realistic, while others detect a slightly fruity undertone that prevents the composition from becoming entirely harsh.
