My Doll's Makeup opens with a distinctly powdery cosmetic impression, combining cool iris and porcelain with lipstick and a touch of raspberry. The effect is more vintage makeup and dusty cosmetics than bright, juicy fruit, with the porcelain accord adding an unusual mineral, almost tactile quality.
As it develops, iris becomes increasingly enveloping, joined by iris butter, orris, velvet and candle wax. The waxy element gives the fragrance a slightly old-fashioned, atmospheric quality, while white chocolate and blush add a soft sweetness beneath the powder.
