Enigma is deliberately understated. Built around Iso Super E, it creates a translucent woody aura rather than behaving like a conventional perfume with a pronounced opening and dramatic development. Alkemia describes it as a subtle combination of dry woods, soft musk and faint ambergris, designed to sit close to the skin.
On skin, the impression is warm, clean and softly woody, with a texture that can be difficult to pin down. Wearers variously describe freshly shaved cedar or pencil shavings, polished wood, warm musk and clean cotton, while others perceive it as faintly powdery or even slightly unusual depending on skin chemistry.
