For founder James Nguyen, known as Miju, the journey into perfumery began unexpectedly. After years working in the hair industry, where exposure to certain fragrances led to sensitivity and a difficult relationship with scent, James began exploring cosmetic chemistry and natural materials. This curiosity eventually developed into a deeper passion for the art and science of perfume creation.

Inspired by the complexity of aroma materials and the emotional power of scent, James began developing fragrances as a way to recreate memories and translate experiences into wearable art. A powerful dream involving a deeply meaningful fragrance became a turning point, inspiring a journey to explore perfumery as a medium for storytelling, imagination, and connection.
